Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from Maison Levand, whatever device they use and however they use it.
What we do
- We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard most widely used in the United States.
- Images carry text descriptions for screen readers.
- Pages are built to work with a keyboard alone, and the text can be enlarged in your browser.
- Animations stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Checkout is run by Shopify, which maintains its own accessibility programme.
Where we're still working
The site is new, and we haven't yet had it audited by an independent accessibility specialist. Some parts, especially images and interactive elements, may not yet work as well as they should with every assistive technology. We review and improve it as we go.

We are an interior decor house before we are a shop. Once a month we write to you about one room: how to light it, what to put where, and which of the season's decor directions are worth bringing home.
- One room per letter. The living room, the bedroom, the dining table, the reading corner.
- The season's decor directions, sorted for real homes rather than showrooms.
- Lighting advice you can use the same evening, with or without our pieces.
- First word when a new piece joins the collection.
